About the nonprofit organization
The Omaha Sports Complex is owned by Millard Star Soccer Association, a nonprofit organization, who were established in 1981. Over the last 25 years, we have grown from less than 100 members to our current membership of more than 2,300 members. For over two decades, we have continued to invest in our community and in the future of our children. MSSA offers a variety of programs for all ages and all skill levels. Our programs are so successful because of our highly qualified coaching staff. We are one of two sports organizations who offer the TOPSoccer for mentally and physically challenged kids in Nebraska. And MSSA is the only soccer organization in Nebraska to have spent its revenues on acquiring, developing, and maintaining the best facilities for the community. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, we focused on providing the community with the best outdoor facilities. Then we addressed our our community’s needs for an indoor sports facility and built the Omaha Sports Complex in 2003.
About the Omaha Sports Complex building
The Omaha Sports Complex, located at 147th and Giles Road, is an 80,000 square-foot building. It is a state-of-the-art facility, which includes a floor covered by an injury-preventive surface that emulates an outdoor field. The OSC also provides an audiovisual room, used for tactical coaching sessions and movies for our kids.
