U11 Girls Arsenal 96/97 was crowned champions of the 13th Annual Spring Kick-Off Tournament in Council Bluffs, IA on April 28th, 2008. In bracket play, a relentless attack netted 12 goals for the team, while a solid defense gave up only one goal in three games. The Championship game featured Arsenal 96/97 versus Ankeny White from Iowa. Leading 1-0 at halftime, 96/97 finished with a convincing 4-0 win, and thus allowing only one goal in the entire tournament!
