Developmental Program Objectives
The ultimate purpose of the Arsenal Developmental Program is to utilize a long-term developmental structure, which is based on a coaching curriculum. The program will help enhance and increase the growth and development of each individual player.

This program is designed to promote fun, efficient, and educational training sessions that will motivate and challenge each player, while developing within his or her own ability level. The Arsenal Developmental program goals are to develop the basic fundamentals of the game (passing, receiving, 1v1 skills, etc...) in every player that joins program. Coaches in this program are instructed to focus and teach the fundamentals of the game. These include Physical development (Skills), Psychological development (Self worth), and Social development (Playing as a team).

Developmental soccer is for all players who are seeking a higher level of coaching instruction. Players and parents can expect a higher level of time and monetary commitment.

This program is for U8 - U10 boys and girls. The Directors of Coaching will form the teams each year. Any current U8 - U9 players are also welcome to join the developmental program. All interested players will be placed on teams, 3-4 Arsenal teams may be formed, and the remaining teams formed will play within the Arsenal Junior Gunners program. Team formation will be subject to coach availability.

Participation Details

Arsenal offers a specialized soccer camp available to all developmental players. It is strongly encouraged that each player makes every effort to attend the Arsenal Developmental camp July 7 - 11 . Camp Information will be provided on May 17. The camp will help players get a jumpstart on their skills & footwork for the Fall season.
Practice space can be allocated at Chalco or OSC if requested by Arsenal Developmental and Select teams only.
Teams compete in competitive leagues within the Omaha, Lincoln and Fremont areas.
Teams may take part in 1-2 tournaments each season, with the possibility of one being out of town.
Skills training sessions provided by club professionals at our Omaha Sports Complex and Chalco training facilities, approx 50 sessions. *Included in the cost of your Arsenal fees*
Professional staff will oversee all training during the year. This will include player and coach development.
Equal playing time along with player development is a priority at this age.
Players will learn to play all positions in the game of soccer (Forward, Midfield, Defense, & Goalkeeper).
Uniforms are approximately $90 without warm up or bag. Team fees vary by team.
